Music Theatre of Wichita, the largest subscribed non-profit arts organization in the state of Kansas, has attained an international reputation for excellence. We have been described as one of the nation’s top ten summer theatres, and are one of the few such organizations to mount all of its own productions each season, rather than bringing in touring packages.

Wichita State University College of Fine Arts
The School of Music has been housed in Duerksen Fine Arts Center since 1955. With the addition of Wiedemann Recital Hall in 1986, housing the only Marcussen Pipe Organ built in the Northern hemisphere, the study of music is a challenging and stimulating experience.

Wichita Symphony Orchestra
(Founded in 1944, the Wichita Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest arts organizations in Kansas. During its 64 years of existence, the orchestra's mission has been to provide the state with the highest quality musical presentations for as many different audiences as possible. The largest and most active performing arts organization in the state, the orchestra has been nationally recognized for its artistic level and for the community support it receives.
